The overnight snowmaking effort was very productive and we'll be open on 8:30 am on Sunday. When you get here, you'll notice that the original benches and tables that were built in the 60s have been newly refinished. It's a way to show our respect to those who built this quality furniture and preserve a bit of our history.

Remember when most road signs had mileage? This sign shows Boston as 117 miles away and in the early 60's we attracted many skiers from eastern Massachusetts. With the building of the Interstate highway system in the mid 60's, the Boston skiers began heading up Route 93. However, with the advent of the Thunder Mountain Bike Park, the Thunderbolt, whitewater rafting, zip lining, and our other outdoor adventures, the Boston folks are returning to Charlemont. "If we built it, they will come." #throwbackthursday
