This post is long overdue but we wanted to congratulate the winners of our first ever CX race that was held on October 8, 2016. We will be holding this event again next year and we know it will be even bigger and better.
Please note that we found a dead fox at the bottom of the hill today. It is not cleare whether the fox was sick, was killed by another animal, or was killed by a person. We called law enforcement and asked them to contact Fish and Wildlife but we were told that unless we had proof that a human or an unvaccinated animal had come into contact with the fox, that no one would respond. So, we are going to remove the fox tomorrow in the manner they prescribed but want to put out a warning to all of you until we can move it. Please do not touch the fox and do not allow your animals or children to go near it or touch it.
Sorry for the delay folks. Here are the winners of this year's chili cookoff which was held on November 5. It was a great time. We are grateful to the LSC Program Planning class for all of their help and to all the chefs who brought their tasty chili. Special thanks to the public who supported the event. We couldn't have done it without you.
Thank you to the LSC MRM Practicum class and LSC Rugby Team players who came to the Lyndon Outing Club work day on Saturday, 10/29/16. Basement cleaned, rails have new paint, stairs painted, and much more done. Hard work made easy by many, many hands. I can't thank everyone enough!
