Looks like another EPIC day at the Ridge. Expect close to 2 feet of new low density snow on your breakfast platter today. Road is very icy from bottom to top so expect a late opening around 10, subject to change so stay on top of road reports from the park. So grab a breakfast burrito and a cowboy cup of coffee and get in line, it's going to be a good one. Pro trip if your going out of bounds bring your avy gear and ride with a friend, it's deep out there and avalanche danger is considerable.
We will be open with 2 lifts tomorrow the Bunny tow serving our beginner terrain and the Intermediate tow with access to the backcountry and intermediate terrain. The tubing area will not be open and there is a possible opening of some terrain park features. New storm tonight with the chance of strong wind. Pay attention to the Parks Twitter feed or the road condition phone for possible late opening. 360 565 3131
The ski areas that work together help the snowsports world stay and play together. HR is grateful to have the support of the Mountain Rider's Alliance and our fellow ski areas in the Pacific Northwest Ski Areas Association for all their support.
This is your second and last chance to see Monumental: Skiing in Our National Parks in WA state. Made possible by our fine friends at Powder Mag. ONP trailer. Sat night at the Red Lion. Limited seating so get there early.
Good morning and welcome to winter 2016/17. It's 19 degrees and nearly a a foot of new blower powder is on the menu. Road opens at 10. Chains are required to be in your car but not on your tires. Road is snowy and icy from the 1500 foot level, drive safely and have a great Ridge day.
