Greatings Family and Friends, The weather is playing games with us. We hope the cold weather will come back after Thanksgiving.
WE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR THE THANKSGIVING WEEKEND.
We will send the flares up as soon as we get below freezeing. Let's hope Dec 3rd for tubing., thank you and pray for cold and snow.
The upper elevations are starting to see snow. We however, are still too warm for the nice cold temps. Hope to have freezing tempratures by Thanksgiving. With any luck we will open tubing for Thanksgiving weekend ( Saturday and Sunday). Keep fingers crossed and pray for snow.
Morning friends and family, Do you have teenagers that would want a part time job for the winter? We will start hiring our winter team in October. We are open weekends and holiday Mondays. Hopefully our Christmas break will be full of snow. If you would like to have a part time job email us at email@example.com.
Big Changes Coming To Elk Ridge Ski This Season,
First, we are working on a new web page. We hope to launch Sept. 1, 2016.
With our new patners Mountain Rider's Alliance we will be offering lift tickets online by working with Liftopia. We will have the link to the I-Store on the front page. This will give you the best discount for the day you want to come ski/board and tube.
On our website you will also be linked to MRA to buy our new member card. The MRA card gives you discounts with our partner ski areas in the US and Canada.
Secondly, we are doing 2 sessions of tubing. The morning session will run 9:30am to 12:30pm, then 1pm to 4pm.
Stay tuned as the winter comes closer.
As always we thank you for supporting El Ridge Ski & Outdoor Recreation Area.
Good News, the fire restrections have been lifted for the mountains around El Ridge Ski. We are looking for volunteers to come up to help do some slope clean up and trash pick up Saturday and Sunday July 30 & 31. if you do have a scout group or a church group that can help out we will feed our helpers and give them ski passes for the upcoming season. please email at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested. we can also help if you or your group would like to stay the night in the williams area. thank you in advance.
This is very sad news, we need to remember animals are wild and we are visiting in the woods. Please stay safe even in our neck of the woods. Williams has mountain lions, bears, deer and elk. If there are babies with thier mothers they will protect the young.
