We've opened Last Chance (accessible from our Barnstormer heated 6-pack bubble lift) from top to bottom on Haystack Mountain for Thanksgiving Weekend! The snow is great, good coverage and soft spring-like groomers.

There's a 50/50 chance we'll be able to offer members a taste of skiing this weekend!
Overnight, we received about 4 inches of natural snow. Plus, with the return of cold temps, our snowmaking team was able to fire up the guns again last night. If the current forecast holds, we'll be able to run our snowmaking operation round-the-clock between now and Wednesday.
The given those factors, we're focusing all of our efforts on “Last Chance” with an eye on opening the trail for advanced skiers and riders this coming Saturday and Sunday.

We're a part of Huffington Post's rundown of what you need to know about Vermont’s upcoming ski season:
"As the only private ski resort in the northeast, the mountain is truly all yours. For their fifth season, the Club has opened a high-speed, six person, covered and heated lift to get skiers to the summit in under six minutes. Although you need to be a member to ski the slopes, a membership isn’t required to dine at the Club’s three specialty restaurants, where Executive Chef Chris Bonnivier oversees the classic French country dining experience at the Hermitage Inn; the farm-to-table burger and sushi menu at White House Inn; and the rustic Italian restaurant of Ristorante Piacenza."
